The 2025 BonAnno Chardonnay comes from a single source, the Hi Vista Vineyard in Los Carneros, a cool-climate site we sought out for what it does to white wine. Long growing season, natural acidity, fruit that doesn't need propping up. The result is a Chardonnay that earns its structure rather than borrowing it from the barrel. The previous vintage earned 90 points and a Best Buy from Wine Enthusiast — which carries into the 2025.

Vineyards & Winemaking

Hi Vista Vineyard sits on the Sonoma side of Los Carneros — an AVA spanning both Napa and Sonoma, defined by climate rather than county lines. Cold marine air off San Pablo Bay keeps temperatures in check, preserving freshness and aromatics through the growing season. Sustainably farmed. Aged in French oak, light to medium toast.

Tasting Notes

Medium straw. Aromas of white flowers, fresh peach, and green apple. On the palate: ripe lemon, crisp apple, white peach. Clean, lingering finish with subtle vanilla and brioche from a light hand with oak.
