Matt is third generation in the wine business. He spent his early years working in the warehouse of his family’s Ohio wholesale and importing business.
Upon graduating from Ohio State University, Matt took every opportunity to learn about all aspects of the wine business. He began working wholesale in Chicago for Union Beverage Company. Then went on to work for Clos Du Val winery and worked several harvests along the way.
After years studying and working in the wine industry, Matt realized his dream to produce wine in Napa Valley. His goal is to reach a younger, sophisticated Napa wine drinker by producing wines that are fruit driven, clean and affordable.
