Matthew Fritz
2022 Sauvignon Blanc

About Matthew Fritz
Founded by winemaker and entrepreneur Matthew Bonnano, Matthew Fritz
wines are companion wines to his Napa Valley flagship Cabernet Sauvignon
BonAnno. Matthew Fritz was founded on a few simple principles: Seek out and
source fruit from top North Coast vineyards, let the fruit stand on its own
through a pure, clean winemaking process, and ultimately, ensure every bottle
is a true representation of both the variety and appellation.

The 2022 harvest was very high quality across all of California. Due to the ongoing drought conditions, yields were again slightly lower.  The year was not without challenges, but the vintage to produced memorable white wines of great concentration and complexity.

Grapes for this 2022 Sauvignon Blanc were sourced from premium vineyards within the Lodi, Lake County, and Monterey County AVA’s.

Renowned winemaker, Jim Milone, crafts, blends and bottles Matthew Fritz in
Healdsburg, Sonoma County. Jim grew up in the vineyards of his
grandfather’s winery in Mendocino County and currently lives in Northern
Sonoma. His excellent relationships with wineries and growers throughout the
North Coast of California are invaluable to our vineyard sourcing.

Winemaker Notes
The wine is a pale straw color with floral aromas leading to lemon zest, crisp green apples and faint tropical notes. The palate is lively with a crisp refreshing finish.
